I’ve always known OPP to stand for ‘other people’s property’. I don’t know it could come along with panic too.
As a fledgling adult, it can be difficult not to be swept up in other people’s panic. Dealing with with OPP can be tough so, its up to you to be undeniably firm in your decisions.
Here are four tips on unsubscribing yourself from OPP.
- Take a deep BREATH. When you choose a breathing technique, it will help your body relax and focus on the person or situation.
- LISTEN and observe situations without forming judgement.Let’s be honest – This can be tricky but, it’s essential in uncertain times.
- Resolve situations by RESPONDing with facts, not feelings. Responding to situations with facts empowers the conversation to move to forward.
- Be firm in your decision to move on to the next project. Cancel your subscription to their panic.
Involving yourself in OPP can be detrimental to your self growth. Don’t allow other people’s panic to stunt your worth ethic and self growth.
